Location
The geohash is on a field near Geltendorf.
Who Went
TheOneRing - by public transport.
The Expedition
Today is a holiday in the catholic parts of Germany (called Allerheiligen), so I had a day off; perfect for geohashing. The geohash was not very far Geltendorf and easy to reach by train.
Geltendorf...Geltendorf...I know that name, you may think. And you are right, because I crossed that city on my way from the 2016-10-16 48 10 geohash two weeks ago. This time I started in Geltendorf and walked on my way to the geohash through the city. No remarkable changes for what I saw.
On a crossing, I turned right in direction of Türkenfeld (yes, you also know that name, but we come to that later). I passed a church, two grave yards and a single-family housing area to reach the exit of Geltendorf already. Approx. 100m further on a field, there was the geohash. I took the usual photographs and started heading to my secong target today.
As already mentioned, the village of Türkenfeld is not far away, the location of the 2015-07-13 48 11 geohash. It was a good opportunity to get another Déjà Vu Geohash achievement. The street was in a good condition, and walking was very comfortable. After a while (I didn't hurry), I reached the former geohash. I took photos for comparison and walked further to the train station. From there I took trains home.
