Expedition
After a day of successful PHP coding and jQuerialising some rather old web pages, I set out for the hashpoint. The weather conspired against this expedition. There was drizzle bowing in a light wind. The moon was not visible but it was giving some light through the clouds. It was not good walking weather. The Ent pool route was abandoned and the retro points were not visited.
In the wet and poor light, I went into the wrong field entrance. Then I got blocked by a ditch and tall hedge so a backtrack was needed. Then there was a scramble down a bank, dodging tree branches. After these setbacks, it was easier, still following field perimeters. The hashpoint was 6 metres into a freshly ploughed field. The route back into a drizzly headwind circumnavigated the rest of the field perimeter.
I got quite wet. I thought I'd forgotten my umbrella. When I got home, I found it tied to my rucksack, ready for immediate use. Plink! There goes another marble. At least I still remember to get dressed before going out.
