Expedition

Was a pretty simple expedition today. I saw the coordinates were very accessible AND sort of on the way home from work. Before I left the office, I wrote down the directions and getting to the I-190, I made a short detour. I drove to Hillery Park and easily found a parking spot. Fortunately, I had the GPS in the car still and grabbed that as I started to the hash. On the way, I tried to use the HashDroid app but like on 2017-07-16, the phone couldn't get a decent location.

I punched the coords into the GPS and easily found the hash with a short dance. Getting my pictures, I was back at the car and on my way home in no time.

This may turn into a consecutive hash as I'll be driving to the Adirondacks tomorrow to cheer on my sister as she attempts to complete the Lake Placid Ironman on Sunday! There's a hash by Syracuse that, while by a school, may be accessible. There's a ridiculously easy hash in the Buffalo graticule as well, but being very far to the south, would add 2 hours to my drive and I don't think it's really worth the time since I'll already be spending near 6 hours driving.

The day of the race, there appears to be an accessible hash in the Virgin Hamilton County graticule as well. I may have to get up a little extra early and take a half hour drive from Long Lake to grab it too.

This should be a very exciting weekend!
