Remove this section if you don't want an image at the top (left) of your report.  You should remove the "Image:" or "File:"

tag from your image file name, and replace the all upper-case word IMAGE in the above line.

And DON'T FORGET to add your expedition and the best photo you took to the gallery on the Main Page! We'd love to read your report, but that means we first have to discover it! :)

Plans

Since I had taken a day off, we wanted to drive 55 km to Dingelstädt, do a bit of sightseeing and shopping and visit this very easy geohash as well.

Expedition

We left home 12:45 pm and arrived in Dingelstädt around 13:30 pm, parked our car and started out on a multi-geocache, which would lead us through the old inner city and show us some interesting places. The weather was excellent - more than 20 degrees Celcius, early October, simply great to do some sightseeing! At the middle of the multi, we headed for the hash, which was located directly at a main road that goes through Dingelstädt. It was an easy one - very easy indeed - and within two minutes I took some photos as evidence and we continued our way, eating a hamburger at a small 'Imbiss' (a tiny diner) and visiting the cemetery of Dingelstädt as well...

Personal note: it seems, that geohashing is a good thing to also attract my wife getting out a little more, by combining some geohashing and geocaching with a bit of shopping, sightseeing and getting us a little snack on our trip! There's always something interesting for both of us to discover and the hashes lead us to places where we hadn't been before...
