Expedition

I saw this hash earlier in the day and had it in the back of my head as an achievable hash, so when Lachie messaged me to see if I wanted to do it I leapt at the opportunity [reality: I had to think about it and only got on board after many more messages].

I jumped on my road bike after dinner, around 7:30, and headed to Lachie's place nearby. From there, we rode up Pascoe Vale Rd to the hash, reaching it without too much difficulty. We did the classic hash-dance to get within 1m, took some photos, and turned around to head home.

On the way back we went via the upper reaches of the Moonee Ponds Creek bike bath, heavily illuminated with our powerful front lights, to skip all the traffic lights and have a nice ride.

Of course, we had to finish with a hash-beer, which we enjoyed at the Penny Young near Lachie's old sharehouse. I rode home along the railway line from there. A very satisfying evening hash!

Here is the route of our trip.
