Expedition

Being a Monday, I was working from home and started work an hour earlier than normal so I can get out at 16:00. This allows me to not have to rush home for the dogs before rushing back to the city for the Monday Night Buffalo Slow Roll with which I volunteer. Since this was just North of the city, and easily accessible on a sidewalk, I figured it would be an easy trip after the ride. However, I remembered another Expedition I did in the dark after a Slow Roll event a couple years ago and decided to try for the hash before the ride this time.

Getting things ready, I fed the dogs, packed up the bike and left the house for the hash around 16:30 with Google saying it would take about 50 minutes to get there due to rush hour traffic. It was pretty close and I arrived without too much trouble right around 17:15. I found the house by the hash and parked out front since I was a little too far away sitting in the car. Using the HashDroid app, I wandered over but was surprised that it wasn't as accurate as I would have liked. It took some walking back and forth on the sidewalk before I got a good-enough reading. Probably would have been better off doing a No Batteries...

Anyway, quickly getting a couple pictures, I didn't want the neighbors to start wondering what this strange person was doing, suspiciously wandering around the area taking weird selfies. :P

Hopping back in the car, it was a much quicker drive back downtown (since everyone was trying to go home in the opposite direction) and we had another great ride around the East Side with the Slow Roll.
