Location
Veddar Mountain, at the edge of a cutblock
Participants
Expedition
Drove through Yarrow, up Veddar Mountain FSR, then Tower Road. Passed many folks with pickups wondering where our dirt bikes or downhill bikes were.
Made it further than expected in the car. Decided to pull over upon encountering a small pond on the road. Walked a kilometer further up. The way to the point was through a cutblock on a steep slope full of thorns and debris. Made it within about 40 meters but decided losing my skin wasn't worth the glory.
Found a single wild raspberry as a consolation prize. Bought blueberries from a farm on the way back.
