My plan was to take public transport and reach the coordinates shortly before 16:00.

Expedition

Due to bad planning and a delayed bus, I reached the coordinates shortly after 16:00 (but I'm gonna count that expedition as a Saturday meetup nonetheless).

I took the Metro line D to Vénissieux, then the bus route 87 to Mions, then walked the remaining 1.6 km toward Toussieu and the geohash. The coordinates were located in the middle of a field, 200 meters from the path. I followed a tractor track to avoid trampling on the shoots and reached the location at 16:08.

After recording proof and observing that no-one else was going to attend the meetup, I resumed my traversal of the field up to a small farm track that led me back to Mions. In the distance, the sun was beginning to set over Lyon.
