The graticule is in the Finnish Lapland. Year-round population is sparse, but in the winter skiing season the population grows to thousands. Two very popular skiing centers, Levi and Ylläs lie in the graticule. In Kittilä there is an international airport, so also foreign tourists come here a lot.
Half of the national park of Pallas-Yllästunturi lies within this graticule.
Note that the graticule is very distorted due to the proximity of North Pole.
