Expedition
Not able to find the time during the day to venture out to Mirboo North, I convinced Rhonda to join me in a detour on the way home from the blood bank. Unfortunately it meant we were too late to boost the economy of Mirboo North - everything was shut.
But the hash was great. We climbed the fence into the paddock and followed a tree line uphill for a couple of hundred metres, the moonlight pushing through the clouds just enough to see bovine shadows lumber away from us. As we emerged onto the bald side of the hill, the night wind picked up, the clouds parted, and the brilliant moon illuminated the vista around us.
It was a simple hash, and no bicycle achievement, but hashing by the light of the moon was a nice change.
We have since discovered it was incredibly close to Felix's 2020-06-07 -38 146 hash.
