: Thanks! Living in a country where freedom to roam (and to camp temporarily) predates modern society certainly makes it easier, but it is still infeasible in most cases. You should get a good chance eventually too. ― Kripakko (talk) 21:28, 15 June 2022 (UTC)

::I enjoyed freedom to roam when I lived in the UK -- if you're not used to it, it seems very strange indeed to just climb a fence into someone's field!  Happily for me, most land in the region I live in is public or publicly accessible, albeit not always very easy to get to, so in theory I have chances to hashcamp all the time.  I've just never thought of it! Great expedition! I was able to camp at a family friend's property a couple years ago and like you, forgot my picnic accessories (and the breakfast too). This is a great little adventure! It makes me want to sleep on a hashpoint as well. Michael5000 (talk) 14:56, 14 June 2022 (UTC)

Thanks! Living in a country where freedom to roam (and to camp temporarily) predates modern society certainly makes it easier, but it is still infeasible in most cases. You should get a good chance eventually too. ― Kripakko (talk) 21:28, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
I enjoyed freedom to roam when I lived in the UK -- if you're not used to it, it seems very strange indeed to just climb a fence into someone's field! Happily for me, most land in the region I live in is public or publicly accessible, albeit not always very easy to get to, so in theory I have chances to hashcamp all the time. I've just never thought of it! Michael5000 (talk) 15:56, 18 June 2022 (UTC)

Great expedition! I was able to camp at a family friend's property a couple years ago and like you, forgot my picnic accessories (and the breakfast too). Definitely makes for a unique and fun experience. Pedalpusher (talk) 01:58, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
