Expedition

This hashpoint looked very accessible, so I woke up early, caught a flight to Las Vegas, rented a car, and drove out to take a look. Although, to be clear, I had already planned to do the first three before I saw the hashpoints.

For a city on a north-south grid, Las Vegas can be a bit disorienting, and I don't know it well, so there was a bit of hit-and-miss before I got myself out to the eastern suburbs. From the aerial imagery, I expected that this would be a quick-and-easy one, just a quick step off the sidewalk into someone's driveway. Regrettably, I was thwarted several hundred meters out by the gates of a closed neighborhood.

If they choose to exclude the Great Game of geohashing, it is clearly their loss.

With a few free days before my convention began, I continued towards Phoenix with an eye on 2022-10-16 33 -112.
