Expedition

Took a morning train from Barcelona to Calafell and there I started walking.

In Calafell I shortly visited its castle from the outside and had the opportunity to find a geocache.

Then I continued north were I would change villages and went to another castle, this time but in ruins. And then I approached the hash.

When it falls in the forest, and away from the paths, it's always a gamble. And this time I lost and I had the suspicion I would from the beginning. Vegetation was too dense and it fell on a creek. I tried various approaches but always futile. This hash would have been helpful for some regional achievements but what can you do, I will have to come back again in the future ;)

Once I surrendered to mother nature, I walked back to the train station to be home for lunch.

Achievements

SastRe.O earned the Done with Nature consolation prize by failing to reach the (41, 1) geohash on 2022-10-01. The forest was too dense.
