Plans

Drive there, make an expedition with the family, maybe visit the castle.

Expedition

We easily drove there through and around some villages. Since GMaps would have stopped us just below the coordinates, I was quite happy to have checked the map manually and found some forest paths some 200 meters back which were leading right towards the coordinates, if not really straight. The latter part explained itself when we arrived at these paths and parked just off the road. The terrain was steep. While we were on our expedition rather early, the sun was burning down rather fiercely and TheOffspring claimed fatigue and the need for a beast of burden after a mere three minutes on the steep path through some meadows. Once we turned towards the hash, it got more level and the forest vegetation gave us some shadow. As well, TheOffspring had to dismount.

These were all driveable field or forest roads. Well, driveable if you've got a permit, but it was easily walkable, apart from the partial steepness. When we arrived below the hash coordinates, we went up through some light underbrush and did The Dance.

Since it was really scorching whenever you got out of the shadows, we actually skipped the castle and just headed home and hid from the heat.
