Expedition

After the morning's expedition to 2023-12-28 39 -111, we continued north to complete both of our collections of Utah counties we've been in, then on to Salt Lake City to find an interesting cafe for lunch, then west to cross the Great Salt Flats, then north from Wells, Nevada to... this place.

No doubt the entrance to Lud Drexler Park is lovely in the daytime, but after some spectacular sunset scenery on US Highway 93 and Three Creek Road, we arrived just as full darkness fell. We couldn't really see much, but the hashpoint was only a couple meters off the road in a patch of snow. We did the usual celebrations, then heard an owl call our names -- or maybe it was just hooting -- and took a moment to check out the stars.

Then it was onward towards Twin Falls and margaritas.
