Expedition

I was exhausted after my night job and didn't wake up and see the coordinates until 2pm. I had a lot of things to do this day, so I rushed out and did some shopping and tuned my ebike up a bit for the season. I haven't ridden a bicycle in nearly a year so this was a great way to get back into the habit!

The point was on the hospital campus a short distance away, so I took my ebike to the river trail, and then climbed the hill up to the hospital. I was very thankful to have taken the ebike instead of the manual bike because it was heckin wimdy. On the way there I had to navigate a small roundabout, as a cyclist on the sidewalk. These things may be much more efficient for moving car traffic because cars don't need to stop but they're basically impassable for sidewalk users for the same reason. Eventually a gap in traffic appeared and I was able to cross safely.

I pulled up behind one of the medical office buildings alongside a disused rail line, and quickly located the hash point just a short way into the grassy field behind the parking lot. Photos were taken, and then I rushed off home to type this up and get back to my errands!
