Location

Sidewalk of Schwarzwaldstraße in Freiburg. Just across the Dreisam river from the Schwabentor gate in the Altstadt. Specifically, at the edge of the building housing the Freiburger Musikantiquariat, which seems to sell old sheet music but is closed on Sundays.

Participants

Plans

Walk or bike over at some point during the day.

Expedition

An overcast morning, good for a relaxing Sunday. I walked to a late breakfast in the Altstadt and then continued towards the hash. This turned out to follow the route of the number 1 tram, and there was a convenient opportunity to board one, but it was nice to walk.

After crossing the Schwabentorbrücke over the Dreisam river, I was on Schwarzwaldstraße and spotted the red shutters of the Musikantiquariat building just ahead. The point turned out to be closer to the next building, which also had music-related posters in the windows.

I departed heading west and eventually found a way down to the nice path next to the Dreisam river.

Could have managed No Batteries or Tron with a tiny bit more planning.
