Expedition
Fippe
In the afternoon, I took the train to Hesepe and walked the rest of the distance.
The coordinates were on a field. By walking through tractor tracks, I reached the coordinates at 16:00 and recorded proof.
Afterwards, I walked back to Hesepe and took the train back home to Osnabrück.

Unfortunately, we were too late to meet Fippe.
The three of us took the Train NWB RE 18 from Oldenburg to Bramsche. This train starts its journey in Wilhelmshaven but typically replaces almost all passengers in Oldenburg. Among those getting on were not just us but also a remarkably large crowd of folks who at first seemed to belong to one travel group, though further observation suggested that this were multiple independent groups. From Bramsche we fetched the NWB RB 58 to Bremen, getting off a couple minutes later, in Hesepe at about 16:50. This second train was called Oldenburg, though that journey did not see it getting any closer than a couple dozen kilometers to the nearest city of that name.
From Hesepe, we then walked along mostly small rural streets towards the coordinates while the daylight rapidly receded. When we passed the cemetery it was already too dark for any reasonable pictures, but we nevertheless tried it with flashlight. Immediately, wind started to blow and it got some degrees cooler and a flock of geese passed overhead with loud calls.
After Beardygrade stepped onto the dark field and didn't disappear, the others eagerly followed until two phones independently signalled the arrival at the right spot. We took a mutual selfie and made our way back towards the train station. We took the NWB RB 58 to Delmenhorst and changed onto the NWB RS3 to Oldenburg.

Flags
- The flag of Germany defaced with a Saxon Steed inside the geographic outline of Lower Saxony, inscribed "Niedersachsen / Wir sind die Niedersachsen" ("Lower Saxony / We are the Lower Saxons"), notably not the flag of Lower Saxony
- The flag of East Frisia defaced with its coat of arms, inscribed "Deutscher durch Geburt / Ostfriese durch die Gnade Gottes" ("German by birth / East Frisian by the grace of God"), not to be confused with the flag of the so-called Donetsk People's Republic
- A Jolly Roger and the flag of Germany on the same mast
