The Moncton graticule is at latitude 46, longitude -64. It is significant for being the only graticule with parts of three provinces, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. The part of Nova Scotia is only about one square kilometer of Tidnish Head in the southeastern part of the graticule, which would make the odds of having the geohash on Nova Scotia land in this graticule 1 in more than 8000, or once in every twenty-two and a half years.
The graticule stretches from Kouchibouguac National Park in the northeast, Moncton in the southeast, Port Elgin and Tidnish Head in the southwest, and Tignish in the northeast, and is bisected by the Northumberland Strait.
