A pleasant day in Seattle, with just a few clouds. I missed a turn and arrived at around 4:15. HarlequinsDad and Harlequin were already there, arriving on foot. We discussed the exact gps point, games, and geohashing, while Daniel interacted with locals on the playground. If only all geohashes could be this easy!

HarlequinsDad
Harlequin and I succeeded in making it on foot, so gaining the Walk achievement. Also convinced my wife Julie to join us for a photo and take us to dinner (she was our ride home) - adding a "Drag-Along" as well.
Planning
Given the easy locale and short distance from home (about 6.3km) Harlequin and HarlequinsDad expect to make the journey on foot late in the afternoon to claim the Walk geohash for this one. I'll also try to work out the magnetic compass bearings to landmarks within the park so that we can claim the No Batteries Geohash.
- Estimated time? If it's in the late afternoon, the kids and I will join you. --Thomcat 05:32, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
