Expeditions
This was our (Woodveil) second successful geohash, and our first in the Atlanta graticule. We both went back to college on January 5, and thus we became largely restricted to weekend geohashes and well-placed weekday ones. This was a well-placed weekday one. We each just so happened to have a break between classes, so we met up around 11:45 and drove out to the hash, arriving just after noon. As we still did not have a GPS unit, we once again relied on Google Maps, with street view. The hash was in a small neighborhood west of downtown, a bit past Six Flags off of I20. The hash itself was located on Radford Road, near Summer Lake Drive. Can I get a Speed Racer?
Amen. Well, we drove over the hashpoint a few times and took some pictures before we had to head back. Calculus waits for no man. Even if those men are geohashing. Oh well, mission accomplished.
