This hash point turned out to be on a ranchers land. I was unsure of the land use from the Google maps. As I was driving up to the house to ask for permission to access the hash point, I notice that there were herds of cows on the land next to the house.
I knocked on the door and a boy about 12 years old answered the door. I asked if his dad was around. He called out to his dad and a few seconds he showed up. A very nice guy about my age came to the door. I explained(or attempted to) the rational of Geohashing. He kind of look at me funny and then I said that I was an internet scavenger hunt team looking for GPS coordinates. He understood that much better. He looked at me and then said "Have at it." I thanked him and then drove back to the fence.
I got out walked to the hash point took a few pictures and jumped up and down for a few seconds, for I knew that this Geohash location for me has set a NEW XKCD RECORD for the most consecutively reached geohash points.
I then walked back to my truck.
I wrote a note of thanks and how to find this web site on the printed out map that I had and left it in their mail box.
I then drove back home to Norcross.
