Expedition
I used my trusty iPhone app (thanks Casey) and noticed the hash was very far east, which meant the one west of me was very close. After work, I tried to explain the basics of geohashing to a friend. I was unsuccessful in convincing him why we should drive twenty minutes to reach a random point. Maybe next time, buddy. On my way, I noticed I had been down this country road before to look for a hash I never reached, a rare coincidence around here. Due to the lag on my GPS, I ran right through the point, turned around, sped through it over the speed limit (don't try this at home), then stopped and got some pics. All in all, roughly an hour round trip and I picked up some good achievements. Well on my way to conquering the Panhandles. On a side note, I can't get that smell out of my nostrils from the cattle feedlot I passed. Thank you, Lord, for not putting the point in there. Mmmmm, a celebratory ribeye sounds good.
