Location

The hashpoint was located in a small village called Linden, near the border between Upper Austria and Lower Austria. It was sitting on a parking lot, just waiting to be grabbed..

Participants

Just me and my trusty steel horse.

Plans

Had to leave my home graticule for some business in St.Pölten. I checked the hashes along the way. The Linz hash (48-14) immediately caught my eye. Not only was it located just beside the main road, this main road was also one of Austrias greatest routes for motorcycling. Even though I had not much time to spare for capturing the hash and returning to St.Pölten I decided to go for it anyway.

Expedition

Time was of the essence, so I quickly hopped on my motorcycle and rushed away. The approach was clean and fast. Not much traffic along the way, so I made good time, even though the road was still damp from the rain the night before. I reached the parking lot with the hash on it. I also recognized the bus stop from the aerial fotos on Google Maps. The hash was located right behind the bus stop on the parking lot. Very easy, could have grabbed it without even dismounting my ride (is there a "Drive-by Achievement"?). Did the deed and off I went again.
