Location
The hash lies just south of Machynlleth, on what appears to be one side of a ravine. It might be within a few dozen feet of a path.
Participants
- Huinesoron (talk)
- Huinesoron's wife, children, and parents.
Plans
So it's the holidays, and wouldn't you know it, a hash turns out to be practically local to where we are! Of course, we have no GPS, and the Ordnance Survey map shows the hash to be on the opposite side of a river to where Google places it... and it's raining... but is that going to be enough to stop us?
Expedition
Yes.
Yes it is.
We were actually in Machynlleth on this day, about five miles from the hash - but with an over-tired two-year-old in the back of the car, and a desire to go to the beach afterwards (it was one of only two days the weather even approximated good enough), geohashing turned out to be the disposable part of the plan. Oh, well!
Achievements
I don't think I even deserve a Prize poultry consolation ribbon for this.
