− | + | On the last beautiful day of a run of beautiful days, it seemed worth ducking out of work a few hours early and heading south to Legion Park in Woodburn, site of the 2017 Eclipse! Well, I guess there were a lot of sites for the 2017 Eclipse, but Legion Park is where I was when it happened. From the park, I had come up with a complicated running route that would take me to the south end of town, then up through the old downtown, past the hashpoint, and then through some of the residential neighborhoods on the north side of town. There were children playing near the hashpoint, along not in the actual street, so that was cheery. Woodburn looked pleasant and wholesome in the spring sunshine. It was about a 7 1/2 mile run | |
