Expedition
I'm writing this report more than a year after the expedition, so I'm unsure how I got there. I know that I walked on the field and was riding my bike before, but I'm unsure if I took the subway on part of the way (which seems like me). Actually, my Google Maps timeline shows that I cycled the entire 40 km roundtrip.
On the way to the hash I encountered a field of canola that looked so good that I decided to photograph it. I rode my bike through Groß Förste, a town of 808 inhabitants. "Groß" means "Large" in English, but perhaps it's only called that because it is larger than the nearby Klein (Little) Förste, of which I could not find a population number.
On the field I found tracks of a deer and a human, perhaps a geohasher, probably a farmer. I found the Geohash and recorded proof.
Then, I went to the nearby Heidelberg. Not the Heidelberg, but a nearby (380m) peak named Heidelberg featured on OpenStreetMaps. I was at the coordinates that OSM listed, but they were unmarked since they were still in the middle of a field. I suppose this Heidelberg is not very famous.
Between the Heidelberg and this Geohash are some abandoned train tracks, overgrown with grass.
