Location

This Geohash is located next to a stream in Wildeshausen.

Participants

Expedition

From Hannover, I took the train to Wildeshausen via Delmenhorst and walked the rest of the distance from there.

I went through the market square of Wildeshausen and over the river Hunte. On the other side, I was getting very close to the Geohash. It turned out to be in-between to fenced-in properties, one of them a meadow, the other one a thin property. Between the fences, there was a stream, bushes and trees, so I was concerned if I could make it without falling into the stream. Even though I already was pretty wet already, that would have made it worse.

On the other side of the thin property was an open meadow, so I decided to circle the thin property since that would perhaps make it easier to reach the Geohash. It turned out that it did not make much of a difference in distance. I was getting wetter from going through all those wet plants, but at least I didn't fall into the stream. After reaching the coordinates, I recorded proof.

By the time I was back on the road, water had reached my skin through my pants, as well as through my jacket, sweater and t-shirt. I then walked back to the train station and took a train back to Hannover.
