The Placerville, California graticule is at latitude 38, longitude -120. It contains quite a bit of the foothill wine country, as well as a chunk of the El Dorado national forest. Plenty of driving, and four-wheeling roads make this a nice graticule to travel 'round in the summer.

- 2013-03-02 38 -120 -- Lucky91xj tries to reach the point, but is stopped by a gate with No Trespassing sign.
- 2013-02-02 38 -120 -- Gijobarts and family claim the first successful expedition to this graticule, but have not yet provided proof.
- 2012-12-19 38 -120 -- Lucky91xj makes the first attempt at this graticule, but fails to reach the coordinates.
