Expedition

This is one of three expeditions I made during a trip to the Southeast in September 2019. About that time, the original Geohashing wiki was compromised; and I figured the game was up. I discovered the new wiki in December 2021 and am writing this in February 2022.

I had flown into Atlanta on a red-eye the previous morning and drove up into Tennessee, and was staying at an off-ramp motel north of Knoxville. This hashpoint was a bit of a morning side-trip, but that's what adventures are all about. I remember driving through the quiet little towns at dawn, being glad I was on vacation. There was nothing much to see at the margins of the school's playing field, but I was glad to see it just the same.
