Fippe's trip to Nürnberg, expedition 4/4

Yay, Thomcat is in town! We met at the the central station in Nürnberg, and took the train via Fürth to Egersdorf. From there, the destination was not far and we walked through a forest on partially unmarked paths that took us down to a small stream. At the destination, we performed The Dance™ to locate the coordinates, and got satisfying readings.

At the Geohash, we could see that the meadow on the other side of the stream had been mowed, we could walk over it on our way back. After jumping over the stream we took this shorter way back to the train station, and took the train back to Nürnberg. There, our paths separated, and later that day, I would travel back to Hannover.

It was very pleasant to meet you, Thom! I'm glad we arranged this meetup.

Yes, this was a good spot, in a grat I haven't visited and within local train distance. Win^3.

This being an expedition for both of us, I didn't gain any ground on the most active users table. Pretty great to have more than 600 expeditions worth of experience on this visit - though that total is still less than Georg by himself.

I agree with all posted by Fippe (handshake #51!) up to the jump. It turns out, Thomcat's can't jump well. A quick backslide at the bank led to a splashdown in the mud - up the back of both legs and all over the shoes. By the time I returned to the hotel, it was *almost* dry...

I fully expect to be back next March, ready for rainy geohashing fun.
