A quick search provided some information about the roman ruins next to the geohash. The area was part of Lousonna, the gallo-roman city that flourished between the 1st and 4th century AD. The place is now being used by the Univeryity of Lausanne to train archaeologists. From https://www.unil.ch/iasa/fr/home/menuinst/recherche/chantiers-archeologiques/vidy.html:
The remains unearthed during the five excavation campaigns show a succession of particularly well-preserved houses at the western end of the Gallo-Roman agglomeration of Lousonna (from the first third of the 1st century AD to the 4th century AD). They consist of three buildings of rectangular plan (15 m by about 26 m) lined with porticoes, the short side of which overlooks the decumanus, the main street running east-west.
