Plans
I had work until 1pm today, and was planning to meet up with some friends in Brighton afterwards. When I learnt about the hash, I was genuinely unsure if I wanted to do it or not because it would mean being about an hour later than expected.
I packed my hashscot (but forgot the stickers, oops) just in case, and as I was literally waiting to take a train to Brighton I finally decided to do the geohash first (with a little convincing).
Expedition
The expedition itself was, as I seem to love saying in these, fairly straightforward. Essentially, instead of getting off the train at Brighton, I stayed on it until Noarlunga Centre.
From there, it was a very short walk to the Anaconda that the geohash was located in, and I made sure to go to the corner of the store that the geohash was (apparently) located in.
(Sidenote: while the error radius on Google Maps did encircle the hash, I also checked outside to see if it would be any better, which it kind of was?)
I then promptly forgot to take a photo of my watch like I usually do, so I did it on the train back instead. And then immediately after I got to Brighton my friends decided to... go to Port Noarlunga instead because of the weather! Oh well.
