Location
On a field in Burghausen
Participants
Expedition
- Iqui: We started at around 9am to avoid the thunderstorm that was supposed to be coming this evening, but mostly just because we wanted to avoid the heat as best as we could. The first half of the way I already knew quite well because it passed by the underrated Kranzeberger See, which we obviously used to go for a swim because it was otherwise pretty much empty in terms of people at that time. After some more driving we arrived at the haspoint. We were lucky it was not in the centre of the field with newly planted crops, so we decided it wouldn´t hurt the harvest much if we walked the few meters to the location. For the ride back I wanted to take a different route, partly so I could get the Tron achievement. The way led us through the "Weltwald", shortly after we took a snack on a bench in the shade. We also encountered quite a lot of professional bikers along the way, probably because it was Sunday. Taking another way back home was definitely worth it though because I discovered some great new ways for cycling I'm excited to return to for other rides in the future!
