It encompasses a relatively sparsely populated area, with the largest cities being Waren, Güstrow, Malchow, and Wittstock/Dosse. The landscape is largely agricultural, but includes the Müritz national park, the natural reserve of Nossentiner-Schwinzer-Heide and some large water bodies. This graticule contains parts of the German Bundesländer Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Brandenburg.
