Today's Location: [Lake Cowichan, BC]
The Lake Cowichan graticule is at latitude 48, longitude -124. A trans-border graticule, it contains parts of Vancouver Island, the southern mouth of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Cape Alava, and northwestern parts of Clallam County. Other than the urban area around Lake Cowichan, there are few people and roads in this area.
Vancouver Island interior hashes in this area are like to be very difficult due to few roads or highways, however, the West Coast Trail does extend up the coast from Port Renfrew, creating some nature areas that would have only moderate difficulty. The Washington state section of this has many more back roads, but is still rough, wild terrain.
Geohashes
No known geohashes have been completed in this graticule, making it a Virgin Graticule.
