I got right up to the siding of the house for a measurement, just a few meters shy of the point. I noticed the fences festooned with '''Beware of Dog''' signs, hopped back in my dry car, and left. About

Expedition
Thomcat

It was raining, but not enough to qualify for drowned rat. For the second day in a row I failed to check the thermometer also. I'll save that for smashing the cold record instead of merely breaking it.
