A little bit about me

I learned about Geohashing on December 31, 2008. And attempted my first hash two days later. My job as a science teacher severely limits my opportunities to wonder around. I am also limited by distance being on a teacher's salary and not willing to spend money on gas that could be spent on "decent" food. At any rate, I'll attempt as many hashes as I can try to keep readers entertained.

PS: My brothers are also in this ( Woodveil ). They beat me getting started.

Successful Geohashes (1)

2009-06-15 - The second hash ever to be reached in the Jacksonville graticule. Unsuccessful Geohashes (5) On 2009-02-28. Attempt number five. Check it. On 2009-02-22. My fourth attempt. Two weeks since my last attempt, I now have a simple GPS and some time on my hands. The hash was close and appears to be reachable. Click and see what went wrong. On 2009-01-02. Being very interested in completing a geohash before having to go back work I checked the coordinates right at 9:30 EST. It was only six miles away.
