+ | I don't think it's a matter of people not wanting to discuss THEIR achievements, but of people not wanting to discuss OTHER people's achievements, so they just sit on the Talk Achievements page. I made the [[Gratuitous Ribbon]] as a reaction to some of the undiscussed achievements, hoping to divert future undiscussed silly achievements to gratuitous ribbons instead. I was hoping we could eventually establish a tradition where widely supported gratuitous ribbons sometimes get made into Achievements, but only if they are actually achievments and not just something that anyone can do, like my silly Badger dance. This ribbon was made in protest (and I think the protest was very valid). People said that you uldn't get a Speed Racer on the Autobahn because there was no actual speed limit. I think that one should be changed to the legal speed limit, or if there is none at least 100 km/h. The legal speed limit thing was put in place to discourage people from speeding, not to stop Germans from winning on the Autobahn. -[[User:Robyn|Robyn]] 20:09, 6 April 2009 (UTC) |
