:By "groups" I meant people who usually geohash together. I just wanted to prevent an avid geohasher who drags two of his/her friends geohashing from being able to rapidly create and approve a ribbon that didn't have widespread support. Do you think that restriction should be clarified or eliminated?-Robyn 03:09, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

::I usually think of us as individuals rather than groups. Maybe "supporters from different locations"? I don't think rapid ribbon creation will be a problem with the ten day limit. New achievements will always be controversial, some people don't like them at all. Personally I'm all for new achievements as long as we maintain some level of quality and uniqueness for the requirements and ribbons. --The ru 06:41, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

I think we should have a "did not trample crops" consolation prize, for geohashers that are not willing to do so. I don't really have the time or motivation to make it myself, though. --The ru 09:48, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Okay it's creepy that there's no discussion on this. The page has 73 views, so someone beside me has looked at it. No one is going to support, object or suggest amendments? -Robyn 19:04, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

We all hate it, but are afraid to hurt your feelings. Support. --starbird 01:23, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
It's a good idea for a more convenient/standardized system to discuss new achievements. Support. --ilpadre 09:53, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

"multiple supporters from different geohashing groups" - what would these groups be? Bike-hashers vs. car-hashers? --The ru 13:22, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

By "groups" I meant people who usually geohash together. I just wanted to prevent an avid geohasher who drags two of his/her friends geohashing from being able to rapidly create and approve a ribbon that didn't have widespread support. I usually think of us as individuals rather than groups.
