Nova Scotia? I thought there had to be some NS land in the grat to qualify it for the NS cat. --starbird 21:40, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

That would be news to me, although of course you may be right. But some of the ocean in this graticule is officially Canadian territorial water, which is why I put the category in. If you went water hashing there, you would be in Nova Scotia. -- Benjw 21:49, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
That's certainly true. And I may be wrong; but my impression is that we don't generally categorize water (politically, I mean). Certainly the all-water grats haven't generally taken country/state categories. It's not perfectly logical, but it does have the advantage of matching up neatly with the regional hashing rules. If I pull up Category:Wisconsin, say, I get links to all the grats I need to check off to get the regional achievement, and no others. --starbird 04:16, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
