Expedition
This is the second and final part of a multihash, started at 2015-01-07_47_-117.
So I drove all the way across the state, why not check out a hashpoint in my own graticule? Google maps shows it between two houses, in the front yard. Aerial view shows it by a tree or large bush.
As the fifth hour after sunrise arrived, so did I in West Seattle. Found the coordinates easily enough, across the street from a large school (also pictured below). Not pictured on the aerial photo was a fence, so I walked back and forth to figure out which yard the hashpoint was in. That investigation led me to the house without the fence, so I entered their yard and walked up to the east/west point...
... and now the hashpoint was showing inside the yard with the fence. Stoopid hash-dance! I leaned over the fence and got the "you are there" message right by the corner of the house. The photo of me is from the sidewalk. Had I a crox poster I would have left it, but alas no printer in my car.
This is I believe my sixth multihash and third cross-state version, each spanning five graticules.
