On the street in a new development (Glenshire at English Hill?) in North Redmond.
Participants
Plans
Stop by mid-day, roughly 1:30. Lay down some sidewalk chalk that will wash away with tomorrow morning's rain.
Expedition
Today's geohashpoint is within a short walk of four Woodlands Parks --- Woodlands Park; Woodland Ridge Park & Playground; Woodlands Community Park; and Woodlands Park & Playground. A development south of the hashpoint is called Parkridge at The Woodlands. So I am expecting to see some trees.
Arrived with little difficulty; first stop on a longer trip to pick up my son and take him to the orthodontist. Snapped a quick picture as I got close, to examine the interesting steeple strucure (see below).
Regarding the site, there were fewer woodlands than in the aerial photo - houses taking their place. Two of the four parks were the other side of road barriers, the remaining two were unmarked green spaces. All in all this looks like a decent neighborhood to live in.
Parked, found the spot, marked with yellow chalk. Took photos, waved to neighbors, left a poster nearby, and departed. Made it across the 520 toll bridge just before 2:00 (see also below) and will check which toll I paid - the lunch or rush-hour version.
