Drag-along achievement

The Drag-Along achievement can be earned by bringing along a friend or acquaintance who has not heard of geohashing before. The dragee does not need to be a reader of xkcd, though it helps. It does not count toward the drag-along achievement if you have to use duct tape, rope, or forcibly move the person.

• Paintedhell reached the location for July 27th in 50, 11 with Basti.
• NWoodruff reached the location for Aug 1st in 34, -84 with Andrew.
• Coreycubed reached the geohash for August 11th, 2008 in 32, -80 with Skytso, who became a geohasher later that day.
