Expedition

Pat

For the first time in about six months, I decided to check out what the day's Geohash was. In a mindblowing twist, it was 600 metres from my house. I showed this to my brother, and declared that we simply had no choice but to leave the house that instant and go visit the spot. He agreed.

Since we don't own any kind of GPS technology, I printed out a Google map and we hoofed it over.

The hash was right out the back of a fish and chip shop that my brother and I are very well acquainted with. We estimated that a conveniently-placed brick wall was pretty much the spot. Without a GPS we couldn't be 100% sure, but it's pretty damn good.

We taped a note to the wall, took some photos, and headed on home.

Our first geohash, and probably the easiest we're ever gonna get!
