Today was my 8th Hashiversary. It was a must to go.
Expedition
The day began bad. I overslept. For a good expedition I had to wake up at 6 o'clock to get the train at 8 o'clock. I overslept. I awoke at 7:40. I don't know why. A test of the alarm clock was good. Ok. I looked for a new timetable and found out, that there was a breakdown of the railway at Fröndenberg because of some bad weather. I looked for the alternative route and found another connection leading to the hash with the same arrival time. I prepared for the expedition and left home. Arrived at the railway station there was a note, that the train which I wanted to take, was late, some minutes. It left Kassel with nine minutes delay and arrived at Warburg with nine minutes delay. And the train to Hamm was gone. Trains don't wait at Warburg. Never. So I had to wait for one hour for the next one. That train also was delayed, about 20 minutes. I thought about the second alternative route, but then I noticed, that this train took another route than usual and I arrived at Bochum. There was now the third alternative route, but with two more trains I arrived at Recklinghausen and with two buses I arrived at the hash.
The situation at the hash was easy. A short walk and a short dance.
Then I walked to the next bus stop and with the next bus I started my journey home, now without delays.
At least I traveled to the hash six hours and from the hash four and a half hours, I walked 900 meters. What a wonderful expedition on a hashiversary.
