This hash was done as part of a 670km solo cycle tour from Albury to Bairsdale via Jindabye, I had a great time, not sure how much of it counts as a geohash trip, I'm not going to write up the whole trip.
I cought the bus from Melbourne to Albury early in the morning. I was only planning on catching it to Wodonga but after checking the hash on the bus i decided to stay on for one more stop and add about 30km to the trip to get the hash. I couldn't pass this up as it would be my first hash outside of Victoria. Frm Albury I headed up the Hume Highway and then headed west. The Town of bowna was marked on the map so i thought it would be a good place to fill up my water bottles, it turns out that all that is in Bowna is a boomerang factory, not even any houses. I stopped and filled up my water bottles and had a chat to the owner. A few km after Bowna i turned off onto a driveway and into a paddock and was able to ride all the way to the hash - a pleasant change from the usual barbed wire fences. Hash reached at 3:30pm.
From the hash i rode south to get back to the route i was planning on taking on the other side of The Murray. When I reached the river I discovered that there was no bridge over it but instead a ferry, which took me across free of charge. I rode another ~30km before setting up camp for the night stopping only for a swim in The Murray.
