Participants
Plans
Last week, I rediscovered a pair of expeditions (2012-05-14 46 -122 & 2012-05-14 46 -123) from a day ten years ago: an unremarkable stop in a residential neighborhood of Longview, Washington, on the way to a challenging trip to the beach near the northwest tip of Oregon.
Then, basically the same hashpoint set appeared today, offset by less than a half mile.
As in 2012, the Longview hashpoint was clearly not going to be very interesting, except in shaping the overall road trip.
Expedition
I treated myself to a restaurant breakfast, drove up I-5 to Longview through a foggy morning, parked near the hashpoint, and took a few pictures. Very pleasant. Then I continued on to 2022-02-19 46 -123.
