Plans
From the South Coast of Oregon, where I ended up after yesterday's expedition, this was my day to Portland and back, a 500-mile round trip. I came up Hwy 101 and across from Lincoln City, thinking that approaching the city from the west would make for convenient access to this hashpoint.
Expedition
And what a foolish idea that was! The road from Lincoln City to Portland was just as maddeningly slow as it always is. By the time I got to where I would have turned north to the hashpoint, I was well behind schedule and no longer interested in visiting a stranger's driveway, no matter WHAT algorithm had generated it! I declared the expedition a failure.
The next day was more successful, at 2022-02-27 43 -123 and 2022-02-27 44 -123.
