Expedition

Cycled to Hamburg-Rahlstedt and took the RB61 to Ahrensburg, then cycled ~3km to the hash and took the same way back.

Would be a very good excuse for a Bicycle geohash achievement, but upon checking my bike, I noticed that the gear change broke off after my recent crash, so I was stuck in the lowest gear, so via train was easiest.

I missed the first train so I had to wait 30 min, cycling in Ahrensburg was very nice, half of the way was a bicycle boulevard, the second half was a dirt track. Access to the field was very convenient, and it had recently been harvested, a welcome change after my last hash. I heard voices so I doffed my high-visibility vest where I left my bike. I couldn't locate the voices, they were possibly coming from the nearby lake. I hash-danced for a bit, took the screenshots and hoped my phone would play nicely taking pictures, I was able to take a picture of my shoes at the hash, however was foiled from taking a picture of myself, I should probably take a dedicated camera next time. My battery was running very low now, so I hurried to get back to the station where I checked for connections and by luck my train was leaving in a minute, I got home shortly thereafter.

Hopefully the first of three consecutive hashes.
